VTech Alphabet Apple
The VTech Alphabet Apple is a fun learning tool for kids from ages 1 and up. It’s designed to be totally portable and sturdy, with enough activities to grow with your child.
Kids can slide a worm up and down the side of the apple to choose their activity:
1. Learn the letters: Press a button and it says the letter clearly.
2. Learn the letter sounds: This just gives the letter sound when the child presses the buttons. Unlike other electronic toys, it gives very clear sounds.
3. Find it: Kids are asked to search for and press a specific letter. Perfect for older children who are beyond the letter sounds.
4. Before and after: The apple asks children what is before or after a specific letter, prompting them to push the right letter. This is the most advanced game and once your child has mastered this, they’re ready to move on.
5. Music: My kids loved this when they were very small. Press any button and it will play a little song for you. The various letters have different tunes, which are surprisingly non-irritating.
