The Princess and the Frog

In this retelling of the classic story of The Princess and the Frog, a determined young woman is focused on her dream . . . building a restaurant in memory of her father.

Since childhood, Tiana has been talented in the kitchen and her determination has taken her far. She believes wholeheartedly in old fashioned hard work, whereas her friend Charlotte believes in the magic of wishing. Tiana scorns this belief until she is faced with losing her dream.

In a hilarious, yet interesting, turn of events, Tiana kisses a frog in an attempt to help him turn back into a prince. Instead, she ends up as a frog herself and the hard working waitress and an arrogant foreign prince end up on a whirlwind adventure together, trying to get their human forms back.

Mama Says:

“We enjoyed this movie as adults, it’s really funny, but the kids had fun with it, too. I think some parts are a little dark, especially for very young kids, though. Dante was a bit freaked out by the Shadow Man.”

Dorian Says:

“It’s pretty good. Ribbit Ribbit. I watch it LOTS and LOTS. It’s not scary for me, but Dante gets scared.”

Dante Says:

“Frogs! I like frogs. And princes. I scared.”
